NOTE: you should live about 150MB of unallocated space on the USB HDD before the partition. 3 on your PC (BIOS) make available USB drive boot and reboot the system. 2 select auto repair and select the usb drive instalation. 1 boot Windows 8 install disk and enter repair mode.

I recomend to copy imagex.exe and install.win to a directory not on the destination USB drive to be faster.ġ: open a command line and switch to the folder were you putted the imagex.exeĢ: run DISkPART (on the command line :P), you will enter Diskpart "mode", now enter the following commands.
You also need the file install.wim located on the Windows 8 install disc/image. You need imagex.exe on your computer (get it form Windows AIK: ) This procedure took me about 20 min to finish: Ok so here is a method that worked for me using a 500GB WD USB HDD, a copy of Win8 Entreprise and a Win7 computer (its an old laptop, Intel dual core T2390 1.8GHz with 4GiB RAM). Actually after some time investigating the "how to" around the tech community i was able to compile a solution (kudos for all the ones out there that shared their ideas, experience and knowledge, without them i would not be able to find a solution).
